Are things improving in the property market?
Estate agents in the UK report an increase in the number of homeowners putting their property on the market during the past month. The number of house hunters registering their details with agents also rose and is in fact at its highest level for 7 months!
Reports show that the number of sales per branch are steadily increasing but first time buyers are still struggling, making up only 25% of all property purchases.
Letting agents in the UK have reported a boom in the buy to let rental market.
With first time buyers struggling to get onto the property ladder more and more are looking at renting. Some agents even report gazumping is taking place and popular properties are being rented for well over the initial asking price!
This means that the Buy to Let market is very likely to see decent growth!
